The Story Behind Our Spring Collection: Peacocks, Flowers, and All Things Bright and Beautiful

It's Dee here, and I couldn't be more excited to share my inspiration behind our latest collection with you.
Picture this: peacocks strutting their stuff, flowers blooming in every colour imaginable, and a whole lot of bright, happy vibes. That's what our latest collection Truly Madly is all about!
Why Peacocks?
Well, let’s start with the peacock – the ultimate show-off in the bird world. But who can blame them? With those dazzling feathers and that elegant strut, peacocks are like the royalty of the animal kingdom. So I thought, why not bring a bit of that royal charm to Maiocchi? So, we did!
Our custom print features these fabulous birds in all their glory, adding a touch of whimsy and magic to your wardrobe.
A Color Explosion!
I know it's still rather chilly right now, but Spring is just around the corner.
Spring is nature's way of throwing a giant paint party, and I wanted to capture that fun, colourful chaos in our print. Think deep blues and greens from peacock feathers mixed with the vibrant pinks, purples, and yellows of blooming flowers. It’s like wearing a piece of the rainbow, and honestly, who wouldn’t want that?
Flower Power
Flowers are the ultimate mood-lifters, right? They pop up in spring, spreading happiness and reminding us that winter's gloom is over. You know how much I love a floral print, so of course I’ve sprinkled our Truly Madly print with a garden full of flowers – big ones, small ones, all kinds of happy blooms. The result? A collection that’s bursting with life and ready to brighten your day.

This is one of my favourite prints that we have ever done, so I really wanted to make it into the most spectacular dress and separates styles that all of you would love.
I designed every piece in this collection with heaps of love and attention to detail. Chloe ( textile designer extraordinaire at Maiocchi) and I have poured our hearts into creating this beautiful print and each garment is a little piece of art, crafted to make you feel special and inspired every time you wear it.
